Shine On Sierra Leone
Tiffany Persons (Executive Director) is a Los Angeles-based documentary filmmaker and Founder of Shine On Sierra Leone, a human service foundation that provides education, mentoring, and nutritional support to African diamond mining schools. A product of serendipity and good will, Tiffany began her mission while shooting her first documentary A Diamonds Tale: From Coal to Carat and came across the dilapidated Bongema Elementary School in a small mining village in Kono, Sierra Leone.
